      Doctors Dermatology Clinic(hereinafter “the Clinic”) places great importance on protecting personal information online and does its utmost to protect the personal information users provide when using the Clinic.

      Accordingly, the Clinic has established and complies with a privacy policy under applicable laws (Protection of Communications Secrets Act, Telecommunications Business Act, Information and Communications Network Act, etc.).

      1. Personal information collected and how it is collected

      The Clinic collects only the minimum personal information needed to provide its services.



      A. Collected during treatment

      

        Required: name, resident registration number, address, phone number, mobile number, email, alien registration number (if applicable)

        Health information: medical history, family history and other information needed to provide care

        ※ Under the Medical Service Act, medical records are retained as required without separate consent.

      



      B. Collected at website membership sign-up

      

        Required: ID, password, name, mobile number, email

        Optional: SMS opt-in, email opt-in

        Sensitive information: past medical history, surgical history, treatments of interest

        Automatically collected: service usage records, access logs, cookies, IP address, etc.

      



      C. Collected at payment

      For credit card payments: card issuer, card number and other authorization details



      D. How personal information is collected

      Website (sign-up, consultation, booking, etc.), paper forms, email, phone, KakaoTalk, fax, etc.

      As a rule, the Clinic does not provide users’ personal information to third parties, except in the following cases.

      5. Retention and use period

      

        Member information: until cancellation or 1 year of inactivity

        Medical records: 5–10 years under the Medical Service Act

        Complaint/dispute records: 3 years

        Credit information: 3 years

        Identity verification records: 6 months

        Visit records: 3 months

      



      Where the law requires retention, information is kept for that period.



      



      6. Destruction procedure and method

      

        Destroyed within 5 days after the retention period ends

        Electronic files are deleted by technical means that prevent recovery

        Paper documents are shredded or incinerated

These Terms Doctors Dermatology Clinic (hereinafter “the Clinic”) set out the conditions and procedures for using the Clinic’s services and other necessary matters, in accordance with the Telecommunications Business Act and its Enforcement Decree.

Article 1 (Purpose, etc.)

① These user terms of the Clinic (http://www.doctors365.co.kr) (“these Terms”) set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities of members and the Clinic in using the Clinic’s internet services (the “Services”).

② Anyone who completes the Clinic’s procedure and clicks “Register” is deemed to agree to these Terms. Matters not covered here are governed by the Telecommunications Business Act, other applicable Korean laws and commercial practice.

Article 2 (Definition of Member)

A “Member” is a person who accesses the Clinic’s site, joins as an online member under these Terms, and receives the Clinic’s services.

Article 3 (Membership Registration)

① Applicants register by filling in the Clinic’s membership form and clicking “Register.”

② The Clinic registers applicants under paragraph 1 as members unless any of the following applies.

1. The applicant previously lost membership under Article 6(3), unless 3 years have passed since then and the Clinic has approved re-registration.

2. The registration contains false, missing or incorrect information

3. The Clinic judges that registration would significantly impair its technical operations

③ The membership agreement is concluded when the Clinic’s approval reaches the applicant.

④ Members must promptly update their information under paragraph 1 when it changes.

Article 4 (Provision and Change of Services)

① The Clinic provides members with the following services.

1. Clinic news email service

2. Online consultation / booking service

3. Sections and content for online members

4. Other services the Clinic provides in partnership with other companies

② The Clinic may change the services in paragraph 1 after notifying members of the changes and start date as set out in Article 7(2).

Article 5 (Suspension of Services)

① The Clinic may temporarily suspend services for maintenance, replacement or failure of IT equipment, or loss of communications, and may fully discontinue current services when switching to new services or for other reasons it deems appropriate.

② When services are suspended under paragraph 1, the Clinic notifies members as set out in Article 7(2), except where prior notice is impossible due to causes beyond its control (e.g., disk failure or system crash without intent or negligence by the administrator).

Article 6 (Withdrawal and Loss of Membership)

① Members may ask the Clinic to cancel their registration (withdrawal) at any time, and the Clinic will process it immediately.

② The Clinic may restrict, suspend or terminate membership in an appropriate manner if a member:

1. Registered false information when applying

2. Threatened e-commerce order, e.g., by obstructing others’ use of the site or stealing their information

3. Used the Clinic for acts prohibited by law or these Terms, or contrary to public order and morals

③ If the Clinic decides to terminate a membership, it cancels the registration after notifying the member and giving them a chance to explain.

Article 7 (Notices to Members)

① Notices to a specific member may be sent to the email address registered with the Clinic.

② Notices to members at large may be posted on the Clinic’s board for at least one week in place of individual notice.

Article 8 (Protection of Members’ Personal Information)

The Clinic strives to protect members’ personal information, including registration details, as required by law.

Protection of members’ personal information is governed by applicable laws and the Clinic’s “Privacy Policy.”

Article 9 (Obligations of the Clinic)

① The Clinic does not engage in acts prohibited by law or these Terms or contrary to public order and morals, and strives to provide services continuously and reliably.

② The Clinic maintains a security system to protect members’ personal information (including credit information) so they can use its services safely.

③ The Clinic does not send unwanted commercial advertising emails to members.

Article 10 (Obligations Regarding Member ID and Password)

① Except where the Clinic is responsible under applicable laws or the “Privacy Policy,” each member is responsible for managing their own ID and password.

② Members must not let third parties use their ID or password.

③ If a member’s ID or password is stolen or used by a third party, the member must notify the Clinic immediately and follow its instructions.

Article 11 (Obligations of Members)

① Members must not engage in the following:

1. Registering false information when applying or updating details

2. Altering information posted by the Clinic

3. Infringing the personality or intellectual property rights of the Clinic or third parties, or obstructing their business

4. Using another member’s ID

5. Sending junk mail(junk mail), spam(spam mail), chain letters(chain letters), pyramid-scheme solicitations, or emails containing obscene or violent messages, images or audio, or posting other information contrary to public order and morals.

6. Sending or posting information (computer programs, etc.) prohibited by applicable laws

7. Impersonating Clinic staff or site administrators, or using another person’s name to post or send email

8. Posting or emailing material containing viruses or other code, files or programs designed to disrupt or destroy software, hardware or telecom equipment

9. Stalking(stalking) or otherwise harassing other members

10. Collecting, storing or disclosing other members’ personal information without consent

11. Using the Clinic’s services for commercial purposes, such as posting ads to the public or sending spam

12. Violating these Terms or other rules governing the Clinic’s services

② If a member commits any act in paragraph 1, the Clinic may restrict, suspend or terminate membership as set out in Article 6(2) and (3).

③ Members are liable for damages caused to the Clinic or other members through their fault.

Article 12 (Deletion of Public Posts)

If a member’s public post falls under any of the following, the Clinic may delete it without prior notice

and may restrict, suspend or terminate that member’s membership.

1. Content that defames or slanders other members or third parties

2. Content spreading information, text or images contrary to public order and morals

3. Content deemed related to criminal acts

4. Content infringing copyrights or other rights of members or third parties

5. Content with an obvious advertising or commercial purpose

6. Other content deemed to violate applicable laws

Article 13 (Copyright and Restrictions on Use)

① Copyright and other intellectual property rights in works created by the Clinic belong to the Clinic.

② Members must not copy, transmit, publish, distribute, broadcast or otherwise use information obtained from the Clinic for commercial purposes, or let third parties do so, without the Clinic’s prior consent.

Article 14 (Consultations)

① Consultation content from the service may be used for the following purposes after personal details are removed.

1) Academic activities

2) Clinical activities

3) Medical services

4) Publications such as print materials and CD-ROMs

1) Repeated requests for the same consultation

2) Requests using inappropriate or vulgar language

3) Requests seeking a diagnosis

4) Requests about treatment fees, test fees, drug prices or drug effects

5) Requests aimed at obtaining information to harm others

Article 15 (Amendment of Terms)

① The Clinic may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Framework Act on Electronic Commerce, the Digital Signature Act, the Information and Communications Network Act and other applicable laws.

② When amending these Terms, the Clinic posts the effective date and reasons, together with the current Terms, on the main page from 7 days before until the day before the effective date.

③ Amended Terms also apply to members who joined before the amendment, unless the amendments violate applicable laws.

④ Members who object to the amended Terms may withdraw under Article 6(1).

Article 16 (Jurisdiction)

Lawsuits arising from disputes between the Clinic and members over use of the services shall be filed with the competent court of the Republic of Korea under the Civil Procedure Act.

Addendum

① These Terms apply from September 1, 2018 until new terms are issued.
